Time to sign up for the Ukiah Holiday Truckers Light parade

Local truckers are invited to participate in this year's Holiday Truckers Light Parade on Dec. 1.

Help bring the spirit of Christmas to kids of all ages in Ukiah. The Truckers Light Parade is the opportunity to dress up your trucks and trailers with lights and other decorations. The theme is bringing Santa and his elves to the Ukiah Valley.

The parade will start from the Ukiah Airport at 5:30 p.m. and head up State Street to Jensen's Truck Stop/Restaurant.

Awards will be presented for first through fifth places at Jensen's restaurant meeting room at 6:30 p.m. after the parade. Entries will be judged on creativity and spirit. Certificates of Participation will be presented to all who enter and assist with the event.
